Les vignobles du Mont Athos sont profond\u00e9ment li\u00e9s \u00e0 la terre sacr\u00e9e de la p\u00e9ninsule. Ils sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement situ\u00e9s sur des terrains en pente avec des sols bien drain\u00e9s d'origine m\u00e9tamorphique, notamment le schiste, le granit et le marbre.
